El pasado miércoles 15 de noviembre de 2023, se llevó a cabo en los espacios de la Hacienda “La Vega”, ubicada en la populosa parroquia caraqueña del mismo nombre, el Foro Aniversario de la Fundación Friedrich Ebert en Venezuela.
Dicha actividad fue el corolario de un ciclo de celebraciones motivadas por el 50 aniversario de la Fundación en Venezuela, que desde el 30 de noviembre de 1973 se encuentra en el país trabajando por el fortalecimiento democrático y la institucionalidad.
“Democracia, poder y participación política de las mujeres” fue el título del evento, que contó con las palabras de bienvenida de Katharina Wegner, directora de FES-Venezuela, Stefan Duppel, Jefe de Misión de Alemania en Venezuela, y de Bárbara Hendricks, miembro de la Junta Directiva de la Fundación Friedrich Ebert. La charla entre Anais López, Coordinadora de Proyectos FES-Venezuela y Paulina Gamus, antigua parlamentaria de Acción Democrática, se desarrolló de forma amena y concisa, destacándose los hitos y principales retos de la mujer con la política y de la política con las mujeres, eje transversal de cualquier proyecto democrático e incluyente.
Políticos, académicos y miembros de la sociedad civil organizada se dieron cita en los amplios corredores de esta hacienda colonial, patrimonio histórico de Caracas, para brindar y celebrar el importante trabajo que cumple la Fundación Friedrich Ebert en Venezuela.
